Directions/Location


The Kingfisher Interpretive Centre is located along the banks of the scenic Shuswap River.  Our 10 acre site is nestled amongst a lush Interior Cedar Hemlock rainforest and hosts several short walking trails that will lead you to the river.  The site is forested and boasts one of the largest beaches on the Lower Shuswap River.  We are located adjacent to the Cooke Creek Forest Recreation Site.

We are located on Mabel Lake Road (also known as Enderby Mabel Lake Road) and are 25.5 km from the Shuswap River bridge in Enderby.  Our road (and mailing) address is 2550 Mabel Lake Road, Enderby, BC, V0E 1V5

Directions from Enderby City Hall at corner of Hwy 97A and Cliff Ave (at 619 Cliff Ave, Enderby, BC) - 25 minutes
1) Head east on Cliff Ave toward the Shuswap River Bridge and continue on Enderby Mabel Lake Rd for 9.4 km
2) Slight left to stay on Enderby Mabel Lake Rd 
3) Continue on Enderby Mabel Lake Rd for 16.3 km and destination will be on the right (see pic of our sign below)
