Fall Hours
The site is open to the public during daylight hours, however the buildings are being rented for scientific research throughout September and October and will remain closed to the public. Two outhouses will be available in the upper parking lot, but will not be maintained. Please be respectful of other visitors and practice safe social distancing.
Winter Hours
The site is closed between dusk and dawn throughout the year.
Spring Hours
We will be conducting School Field Trips starting in mid-April until the end of the school year. Schools will be arriving daily (Mon – Fri) utilizing most of the site during their visit. If you are interested in learning a little about salmon and have 4 people or less with your group, you may call ahead requesting permission to audit our educational programming.
Summer hours
The site is always closed between dusk and dawn.
We offer tours of the Salmon Hatchery with displays available to see and there are interpreters on site to answer questions during the following hours:
Sunday: 9:00 - 3:00
Monday: 9:00 - 3:00
Tuesday: Building closed
Wednesday: Building closed
Thursday: 9:00 - 3:00
Friday: 9:00 - 3:00
Saturday: 9:00 - 3:00

If you come outside of our working hours, feel free to take a self guided walk and/or do some nature sketching. Materials are available on-site, by the donation box at the front - you can't miss it!
