Educational Displays
Everyday during our summer working hours we have educational displays available under the 'big roof'. These displays include information about us and the work that we do, animals hides and antlers, kids activities, T-shirts for purchase and more. For summer 2021 you can see these displays from 9am - 3pm Thursday - Monday.
Self Guided Nature Walk
Put on your exploration hat and enjoy an educational walk through our interior cedar-hemlock rain-forest. Follow the oath and look for the numbers to guide you through your experience. This guide is for adults and children to enjoy together. Each exploration point will be accompanied with an activity to do with your kids, or companions.
Stay on the paths and enjoy your hike! Distance = 0.5kms.
The self guided walk is by donation and pamphlets are available on-site on the front near the donation box.

Bateman's Sketch across Canada
The Bateman Foundation is launching a brand new project in honour of Robert Bateman’s 90th birthday: welcome to Bateman’s Sketch Across Canada! Robert Bateman and The Bateman Foundation are excited to be distributing 33,000 FREE sketchbooks to Canadians across this beautiful country.
Sketching in nature promotes knowledge, understanding, and connection to the environment, and the act itself is a mindful one. Taking the time to stop, look, and sketch is a useful tool for easing anxiety and managing depression. This is needed now more than ever.
