Salmon Sunday 2020
Have you ever caught a fish or been curious about what all that gooey stuff is inside? Are you interested about salmon and how they have adapted to living in the water and why they leave the rivers where they are born? Maybe you are simply curious about the natural world and enjoy learning about animals. Either way, the Kingfisher Interpretive Centre will be offering Salmon Sundays this summer. Every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. – noon, beginning July 19th –August 16th, you are invited to join us for a fact filled morning learning about the life-cycle of salmon, spawning strategies and witnessing a salmon dissection. This program is family friendly, free and fun for all ages. Space will be limited this year so pre-registration is required. The same program will be run each week, so if there are no spots available one week, you can join us the next week.
