The Kingfisher Interpretive Centre Society is a member based non-profit organization.  Memberships are available for $10 per person per year. All memberships expire at the end of each calendar year.

What comes with your membership?  A membership card will be sent to you if requested.  Becoming a member brings you the comfort of knowing that you are a part of something that not only benefits the salmon of the Shuswap River, the Shuswap River watershed, the natural wonders found in the natural world but you are helping enlighten today’s youth and reconnect them with the natural world.  Believe it or not, some of the students that participate in our environmental education programs have never been a forest before.  These are the lives that will be changed, thanks in part, to your support.

The Kingfisher Interpretive Centre Society (KICS) is a not-for profit, volunteer driven community based salmon hatchery and environmental education centre. KICS was established over three decades ago in response to the near extinction of salmon stocks in the Shuswap River.  We hold tax exempt status under the Income Tax Act.
