Outreach Representative
​Welcoming people to life-changing experiences.

Purpose: To represent Kingfisher Interpretive Centre by educating and sharing information about the centre, salmon, watershed, and biodiversity of the area; while providing information on how to get involved.
Expectations and Responsibilities: Attend local markets, job fairs, and other events to recruit members and volunteers. Provide information about Kingfisher Interpretive Centre and educate about salmon and the hatchery. Collect and set up displays returning them to the centre.
Time Requirements: As available and with a minimum commitment of two markets a month during market season.
Skills and Qualifications: Communication skills, enthusiasm, outgoing, punctual, and organized.
Orientation and Training: Basic orientation and safety, background on KICS and Salmon.
Benefits: Work experience, skill development, community engagement.
Job Location: Various market and event locations throughout North Okanagan and Shuswap area.
